Ah, sweet irony. A former employee of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has the green light to go ahead with her lawsuit … claiming she was the victim of disability discrimination.

Mary Bullock served as an administrative law judge for the EEOC from 1999 to 2007. She sued the agency for disability discrimination in 2006.

According to a story on the Wall Street Journal’s Law Blog, Bullock suffers from multiple sclerosis and lupus. She charges that her accommodation requests were ignored, and her supervisors retaliated against her by denying her promotions and imposing stricter deadlines than her co-workers had to follow.

Her case had been stalled on technicalities — a judge ruled she hadn’t followed all the required administrative procedures for resolving her complaint.

But an appeals court judge threw out that ruling and remanded to case for a hearing.

Can’t wait to see what happens now.
