St. Patrick’s Day, while superficially a religious holiday, is really a day on which everyone can celebrate the wearing of the green.

In workplaces I have visited, activity committees have served corned beef lunches to staff. One company bought everyone shamrock sugar cookies with green icing. Dozens of employees wear green to work and, those protesting, wear orange. As you know, I am a serious proponent of celebrating holidays at work. The spring holidays arrive this week with St. Patrick’s Day.

As another example, pertinent this spring, a different client celebrates with an annual Easter egg hunt for employees’ children that is fun and good team building for all. Here are celebration ideas for the spring and summer holidays at work.
